02. December 2008Thanks to GTZ for the digital maps of Manshiet Nasser and the basic informations!!!
Finally you get an idea where i am around all the time and what is ment by MN1 to MN9. GTZ started in 2004 with the planning phase. A rapid research was the basis to start with. They asked the inhabitants about their needs etc... It took 1,5 year to get all these information and write a document the sc. Lap. Then they made divisions of the area into 9 zones, to have a general map that is able to be legalised. So the knowledge of the Lap was transformed into a map and it took another 6 to 9 moths to legalise it. This districts were named to MN1-Ezbet Bekhit, MN2-Masakin, MN3-Asfal Razaz, MN4-Gamia, MN5-Maadissa, MN6-Khazan, MN7-El Zarayib, MN8-Aala Razaz, MN9-Wadi Faraoon.
